Rehearsal Dinner Photography Coverage: How Much Do You Need ?

Sometimes a rehearsal dinner can have as much design and heart and story as the wedding day… and it’s a great opportunity for me to document the story and get the key players for the wedding day familiar with Arinn and I. {so much less awkward when Arinn shows up for groomsmen getting ready :0) } How much coverage do you actually need? Typically one or two hours is ample time – we can document the details, guests mingling, and even a welcoming toast or two. However, we don’t need to necessarily be there for ALL of the toasts… For Pam & Mike’s rehearsal at Lion Rock Farm with Kate Dawson Events we shot for just one hour & I feel like we we able to tell the story of the night.

Signature drinks: one of my favorite details!  Kate Dawson Events had every detail down for this summery, farm to table welcome dinner to perfection.

Guests were treated to a gourmet pig roast by Hunt and Gather {and everyone was raving about the cornbread and local honey}.

Custom paper placemats by Ink Revival added that extra special touch.

Ink Revival even had calligraphed cow bells for each place setting….. design: Kate Dawson Events
